Genius Quote: Maurice Cowling

"Liberalism is essentially the belief that there can be a reconciliation of all difficulties and differences, and since there can't, it is a misleading way to approach politics"

Renegade right-wing academic Maurice Cowling nails the essential fallacy of liberalism. There exist differences between ethnic groups, cultures and ideologies that are irreconcilable; the truth of this can be seen this very day on the streets of Baltimore, Ferguson, Rotheram and Malmo, not the birth pangs of a new society, but the death pangs of an established one. Islam is not compatible with Western European civilization, the culture of Africa is not compatible with that of Western Europe and the differences that exist between these mutually exclusive groups can be ameliorated in the short term, but they cannot  be mediated, compromised or wished into non-existence in the long term; the only final outcome can be the triumph of the one over the other; vae victis.
